Obverse description Standing nude male figure, identified as Herakles, depicted in three-quarter view facing right, holding what appears to be a club or bow in the left hand. The figure is rendered in a robust, archaic-influenced style typical of Peloponnesian bronze coinage of the Hellenistic period. The field is plain, and the flan is irregular with a slightly uneven surface consistent with hammered bronze fabric. A partial Greek legend appears along the right margin of the field.
