Obverse description Draped bust of Artavasdes II facing right, wearing the Armenian tiara adorned with a star emblem, hair rendered in stylized locks falling to the neck. The portrait is executed in the Hellenistic tradition, with a slightly bearded profile and a broad, rounded face. The field is plain, with no visible legend on this side. The flan is irregular and the relief somewhat worn, consistent with hammered provincial bronze coinage of the period.
