Obverse description Ship's prow oriented to the right, depicted in profile with detailed hull ornamentation including a wave pattern along the waterline. Atop the prow are two pilei (the caps of the Dioscuri), rendered in low relief. The design is set within a dotted border and reflects the naval iconography associated with the Seleucid maritime ambitions of Antiochos VII Sidetes.

Reverse description A trident oriented vertically with dolphins flanking the shaft, their heads facing downward on each side, symbolizing naval and divine power. Two pilei appear flanking the shaft of the trident. A monogram is positioned to the outer left of the design, and a date in Seleucid Era notation, ΔOP (SE 174), appears below the trident. The Greek royal legend is inscribed around the field.
