Reverse description Isaac Komnenos, self-styled ruler of Cyprus, depicted standing facing on the right, wearing the stemma and imperial regalia comprising the divitision and loros. He holds a cruciger sceptre in the left hand and the akakia in the right. To his left stands the Virgin Mary, facing right, wearing pallium and maphorium, extending her left hand to crown the figure of Isaac. A horizontal inscription appears at the top between the two figures, with retrograde vertical inscriptions in the left and right fields identifying the subjects.
