| Obverse description | Forepart of an eagle's head and neck in right profile, rendered in archaic Greek style with bold, deeply incuse features typical of early Elis coinage. The plumage is suggested by rough, striated surface texturing across the neck and crown. The eye and beak are rendered with characteristic simplicity of fifth-century BC Olympian miniature coinage. The design occupies the full irregular flan, with no legend or exergue. |

| Reverse description | A large tau (T) displayed prominently in the center of a shallow incuse field, flanked on either side by the Greek letters digamma (F) to the left and alpha (A) to the right, forming an abbreviation associated with Elis or the sanctuary at Olympia. The letters are rendered in simple, archaic Greek lapidary style. The incuse square is irregular, consistent with hammered fabric of the period. No additional ornamentation or border is present. |
