Reverse description Central device comprising a quartered heraldic shield bearing the combined arms of Lorraine (on dexter, a bend with three eagles) and Bar (on sinister, semé of crosses with two barbels), surmounted by a large ducal crown with fleurs-de-lis and arches. The shield is rendered in fine engraving within a plain field, with the circular motto legend surrounding it. The date 1723 is incorporated within the legend.
