| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a bold, multi-line Arabic religious inscription arranged within a roughly rectangular cartouche formed by a single ruled line border. The Shahada is presented in three lines of large Naskh script reading 'La ilaha illa Allah / Muhammad / Rasul Allah,' affirming Islamic monotheism. The script is deeply and crisply struck in high relief, characteristic of Timurid hammered silver coinage. A marginal legend in cursive Arabic script encircles the central panel within the coin's periphery, though partially off-flan due to the irregular planchet. The overall strike is bold but slightly off-center, consistent with hand-struck production at a provincial mint. |
