| Obverse description | Three-line Arabic legend occupying the central field, executed in bold Naskh script typical of Tughluq-period coinage. The inscription, rendered in raised relief against an irregular hammered surface, contains the royal titles and Islamic profession of faith. The field shows the characteristic uneven texture associated with hand-struck medieval Indian gold coinage. No border or decorative framing element is present, with the legend extending to the coin's periphery. |

| Reverse description | Central circular cartouche enclosing a triple-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, containing the sultan's name and titles. A secondary marginal inscription in Arabic runs continuously around the outer border, separated from the central medallion by a plain circular frame. The overall design follows the classic Tughluq format of concentric zones of epigraphy. The hammered flan produces slight irregularity in the coin's outline, characteristic of Delhi Sultanate gold issues of this period. |
