| Obverse description | Central hexagonal cartouche containing a multi-line Arabic legend in florid Naskh script, occupying the majority of the flan. The inscription, rendered in bold raised relief against a flat field, is arranged in horizontal registers within the geometric frame. The area surrounding the cartouche contains additional marginal inscriptions or decorative flourishes. The coin is struck on an irregular, broad flan typical of hammered Islamic silver coinage of the period. |
