| Reverse description | Hammered silver surface bearing a multi-line Arabic legend arranged in horizontal registers across the field, divided by a bold horizontal line or rule bisecting the coin's face, a layout typical of Qara Qoyunlu fractional tankas of the mid-to-late fifteenth century. The upper and lower registers each contain portions of the mint and/or date formula, together with Quranic or dynastic invocations in a compressed Naskh script. The strike is uneven and the flan slightly irregular, with some peripheral weakness, though the central legend elements remain legible. No decorative borders or ornamental devices are present. The overall style reflects the provincial workshop traditions of the Tabriz-centered Black Sheep Turkmen confederation in its final years. |
