| Reverse description | Hammered silver field bearing the Kalima Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) inscribed in Arabic script across the coin's face, with the Ujjain mint name incorporated within or adjacent to the religious legend. The inscription is rendered in the bold, slightly angular calligraphic style characteristic of Mughal hammered coinage, filling the irregular flan. This reverse type follows the established Mughal practice of placing the Shahada on subsidiary silver denominations, serving both religious and dynastic functions. |
