Reverse description The crowned arms of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth displayed centrally as a quartered shield, featuring the Polish Eagle and the Lithuanian Horseman, with the Ciołek bull's head of the Poniatowski family on an escutcheon at centre. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. A circular Latin legend surrounds the arms, with the denomination indicated in the exergue as TALERUS POLONICUS and the date LXV (1765) incorporated into the legend.
