| Reverse description | The crowned arms of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth displayed centrally as a quartered shield, featuring the Polish Eagle and the Lithuanian Horseman, with the Ciołek bull's head of the Poniatowski family on an escutcheon at centre. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. A circular Latin legend surrounds the arms, with the denomination indicated in the exergue as TALERUS POLONICUS and the date LXV (1765) incorporated into the legend. The overall design follows the heraldic conventions of the Commonwealth coinage of this period. |
