Reverse description Centrally placed quartered royal coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, surmounted by an ornate royal crown, the shield displaying the White Eagle of Poland in the first and fourth quarters and the Pursuer (Pahonia) knight of Lithuania in the second and third quarters, with a small escutcheon at the center. The date 1652 is divided across the upper field on either side of the crown. The mint master's initials A·T appear flanking the shield at mid-field. The circumferential Latin legend MONETA·ARG·REG·POLON reads around the coin, denoting it as silver coinage of the Kingdom of Poland, all within a beaded border.
