Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Sigismund I the Old facing right, wearing a royal crown and mantle with fur trim, occupying the central field. The effigy is rendered in a robust late-Gothic style typical of the Toruń mint workshops of the 1530s. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait, with a continuous Latin legend running along the outer border reading SIGISMVN I REX POLO D TOCI PRVSSIE, identifying the king as Sigismund I, King of Poland and Lord of All Prussia.
