| Obverse description | Crowned and draped bust of Sigismund III Vasa facing right, wearing a ruff collar and royal crown surmounted by a cross. The effigy is rendered in profile with detailed drapery and collar folds. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait. The circular Latin legend reads SIGIS·D·G· to the right and POLO·M·D·LI· to the left, identifying the king as Sigismund, by the grace of God King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania. |
