Obverse description Royal cypher of Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki composed of the interlaced monogram 'MR' (Michael Rex) in large Gothic-style letters, surmounted by a royal crown with clearly rendered arches and jewelled band. A small decorative ornament or scroll device appears below the monogram in the lower field. The design occupies the majority of the flan, with no surrounding legend, consistent with the minimalist style of small hammered schilling coinage of the period.
