Reverse description Central field features a Gothic heraldic shield bearing the Polish crowned White Eagle displayed, wings spread, rendered in bold relief consistent with Jagiellonian dynastic iconography. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, with a partially legible Latin legend encircling the outer margin identifying the mint city of Toruń. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, as is characteristic of hammered shillings of this period.
