| Obverse description | Central crowned royal monogram 'S' (for Stephanus) enclosing the Batory family arms (three wolf teeth), all set within a double inner circle. The arms of Jan Dulski, Crown Treasurer, appear at the bottom of the coin, flanking the legend. The Latin legend, running along the outer border, identifies the issuer as King Stephen by the Grace of God, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Prussia. |
