Obverse description Central field features the crowned royal cypher of Sigismund III Vasa — an elaborate interlaced monogram 'S' (Sigismundus) surmounted by a royal crown — flanked by the last two digits of the regnal year on either side. The mint mark 'B' (for Bydgoszcz) appears below the monogram. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, reading the king's titles in abbreviated form.

Reverse description The reverse displays a quartered royal shield surmounted by a royal crown, bearing the arms of Poland (white eagle), Lithuania (mounted knight, the Pahonia), and Sweden (three crowns), reflecting Sigismund III's dynastic claims. The shield is set within the coin's circular field, with a Latin peripheral legend encircling it denoting his additional titles. The legend reads SOLID·VS· around the shield.
