Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of King John II Casimir Vasa facing right, rendered in low relief with flowing hair beneath a laurel wreath. The royal portrait occupies the central field, surrounded by a continuous Latin legend along the periphery. A fine beaded border frames the entire design. The portrait style is characteristic of mid-17th century Polish coinage, with naturalistic facial features and detailed drapery at the shoulder.
