Reverse description Central device depicting a heraldic eagle or mintmaster's arms (varieties include Ślepowron, Sakowicz, and Korwin coats of arms) occupying the majority of the field, rendered in a coarse hammered style. The peripheral Latin legend is divided on either side of the central arms and reads SOLID REG POLO with the date 1663, with numerous die varieties recorded showing variations in spelling and punctuation. The arms appear as a crowned escutcheon supported by decorative elements, characteristic of Polish szeląg reverse types of this period. Multiple obverse and reverse die combinations exist, as documented by the extensive Wolski variety listings.
