| Obverse description | Central field features the interlaced royal cypher of Stanisław August Poniatowski (SAR — Stanislaus Augustus Rex), rendered as an ornate monogram surmounted by a royal crown. The date 1766 is divided on either side of the monogram, with '17' to the left and '66' to the right. The monogram is executed in a bold, decorative style typical of Polish royal coinage of the period. No peripheral legend is present; the design occupies the full flan. |
