| Obverse description | Royal cipher of John II Casimir Vasa, formed by the interlaced letters I and C (Ioannes Casimirus), rendered in a bold, stylised monogram and occupying the central field. The cipher is surmounted by a royal crown with three visible arches and beaded ornaments. The date 1666 is divided to either side of the crown, with '16' to the left and '66' to the right. The design is set within a plain, slightly irregular circular flan characteristic of hammered coinage. |

| Reverse description | Three-line Latin inscription arranged horizontally across the central field, reading SOLID. / CIVIET. / ELBIN., denoting 'Solidus Civitatis Elbingensis' (Schilling of the City of Elbing). A six-pointed star ornament appears above the top line of the legend and a smaller star is positioned below the bottom line, serving as decorative dividers. The lettering is bold and upright, consistent with the typographic style of mid-seventeenth-century civic coinage of Royal Prussia. The field is plain with no additional devices. |
