Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in bold thuluth script, presenting the royal titulature of Sultan Murad IV. The inscription is arranged in horizontal registers across the flan, typical of Ottoman hammered gold coinage. The irregular, slightly cusped border reflects the hand-struck nature of the flan. The field shows the characteristic granular texture of a hammered gold piece struck at the Damascus mint.

Reverse description Reverse field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in thuluth script arranged in horizontal registers, recording the mint name (Dimashq) and the regnal year (AH 1032) of Sultan Murad IV. A dotted or beaded inner border frames the legend, consistent with Ottoman sultani coinage of the early seventeenth century. The irregular flan shape and hammered surfaces are characteristic of provincial Ottoman gold issues struck at Damascus.
