Reverse description Hammered gold flan bearing a three-line Arabic mint and date legend in thuluth script, filling the entire field within a plain border. The inscription reads 'Duriba / Baghdad / Sanat 1012,' recording the mint city of Baghdad and the Hijri year of issue 1012 (corresponding to 1604 CE). The calligraphic letterforms are bold and interlocking, consistent with standard Ottoman sultani reverse types. The flan is slightly irregular in outline, typical of the hand-struck coinage of this period.
