Obverse description Densely packed Kufic Arabic inscription fills the central field of this diminutive hammered silver fraction, executed in angular, archaic script characteristic of early Zaidi Rassid coinage. The legends are arranged in multiple horizontal registers across the coin's face, with letterforms interlocking in a tightly compressed composition. A single incuse circular border ring encloses the inscription field, defining the coin's perimeter. The heavily worn and irregular flan imparts an uneven surface relief typical of tenth-century Yemeni fractional silver. The overall design is purely epigraphic, with no figural or geometric decorative elements.
