Reverse description The shield of Burgundy, bearing the characteristic party per pale and per fess quarterly arms, is superimposed over a long cross pattee whose arms extend to the legend border, dividing the reverse into four quarters. A single annelet is placed in each of the four quarters formed by the cross. The surrounding circular legend in Gothic uncial characters records the year of issue and intersects with the arms of the cross at the border.
