Obverse description Incuse mirror image of the reverse design, struck into the flan rather than in relief, presenting the bundle of bound arrows and surrounding wreath in sunken negative form. The incuse impression renders the entire reverse composition in reverse relief within the coin's field, a characteristic feature of this error or trial striking type known as the 'Bezemstuiver.' The denomination numerals '1' and 'S' appear incuse and laterally reversed on either side of the central motif.
