Reverse description A fasces-style bundle of arrows occupies the central field, its radiating shafts extending outward in a starburst pattern, with the denomination numeral '1' to the left and the initial 'S' (for Stuiver) to the right, flanking the bundle. The entire central motif is encircled by a finely detailed wreath of laurel and tulip branches, tied at the base, symbolizing the Dutch Republican tradition. A milled border frames the reverse, consistent with the obverse.
