Reverse description The reverse displays a centrally positioned fasces-like bundle of arrows, its sheaf radiating outward in a sunburst arrangement, flanked by the denomination numerals '1' to the left and 'S' to the right. The entire design is enclosed within a tulip-and-leaf wreath that encircles the field. The heraldic bundle of arrows, a traditional symbol of the United Provinces, dominates the composition and gives the type its popular designation 'Bezemstuiver' (broom stuiver).
