Obverse description Facing crowned bust of the lord, depicted in a stylized, archaic manner characteristic of late 13th-century Low Countries sterlings. The crown is composed of fleurs or rosettes rendered in relief. The effigy is set within a beaded inner circle, with the surrounding legend in uncial characters occupying the outer field.

Reverse description A bold long cross extending to the beaded inner circle, dividing the reverse field into four quadrants each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular grouping. A beaded inner circle separates the central cross design from the surrounding circumscription in uncial lettering. The overall design follows the standard Anglo-Continental sterling type widely imitated across the Low Countries during this period.
