| Reverse description | A voided long cross extending to the coin's edge divides the reverse into four quadrants, with three large pellets arranged in each angle of the cross. The design is contained within a beaded inner circle, beyond which the mint legend is inscribed in uncial Latin characters. This reverse arrangement is characteristic of the Edwardian sterling type widely imitated by Low Countries rulers in the late thirteenth century. |
