Reverse description Hermes, clad in petasos and chlamys, standing to right in three-quarter pose within a square incuse. He holds a short caduceus or staff in his raised right hand while his left hand is extended forward. The magistrate's name legend ΕΠΙ ΖΗΝΩΝΟΣ appears to the left of the figure, and a kantharos is depicted to the right. The entire composition is contained within a shallow incuse square, a hallmark of Abderite stater coinage.
