| Obverse description | The distinctive Boeotian shield rendered in high relief, its characteristic outline formed by two concave indentations on either side representing the arm cutouts, set within a plain raised border. The convex central boss of the shield dominates the field, giving the type a bold, three-dimensional appearance typical of the finest Theban coinage of the Classical period. The design is presented without inscription, the shield alone serving as the primary civic emblem of the Boeotian League. |

| Reverse description | A krater or amphora depicted in the centre of the field, with an arrow pointing left placed above it, all enclosed within a shallow concave incuse circle characteristic of early Theban stater coinage. The magistrate's name is distributed across the field in two lines. The incuse square format and the use of secondary symbols alongside the vessel type are consistent with standard Theban civic coinage convention of the fourth century BC. |
