| Obverse description | Facing Boeotian shield rendered in bold relief, its distinctive concave cutouts at left and right clearly defined against the plain field. The shield occupies virtually the entire flan, its convex boss prominent at center and the characteristic twin lateral indentations rendered with crisp, confident die-cutting. The piece is struck on a broad, slightly irregular flan typical of Boeotian coinage of the early fourth century BC. |

| Reverse description | Within a circular incuse square, an amphora stands at center with handles clearly delineated on either side. Above the amphora, an ivy branch bearing three leaves with berries is depicted, serving as the federal Boeotian league symbol. The magistrate's abbreviated name appears in the field flanking the amphora, rendered in archaic Boeotian Greek letters. The entire design is contained within a deep, neatly executed round incuse, a hallmark of early Theban federal coinage. |
