| Obverse description | Blank uninscribed obverse of Late Iron Age Celtic style, featuring two crossed wreaths, one of which is curved, with a pair of back-to-back thick crescents at the centre separated by three pellets. Stylised abstract faces occupy the four angles formed by the crossing wreaths. The overall composition reflects the characteristically fragmented and abstracted Gallo-Belgic artistic tradition as adapted by Catuvellaunian die-cutters. |
