Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of King Thothorses facing right, rendered in the late antique Bosporan style. The royal diadem is clearly indicated, and the drapery falls over the shoulder in conventional fashion. A distinctive control mark consisting of three dots arranged in a triangle appears in the right field. The obverse legend arcs around the bust identifying the ruler.
