Reverse description Artemis, depicted as a charioteer standing upright in a quadriga drawn by four elephants proceeding to the right, holding a goad or kentron in her raised right hand and the reins in her left. The elephants are rendered with naturalistic detail, conveying the military and royal iconography of the early Seleucid court. Control marks appear in the upper field and before the lead elephant. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ is partially visible in the exergue and field, identifying the issuing king.
