Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, stands in left profile, her wings outstretched behind her. She holds a victor's wreath extended in her raised right hand and grasps a stylis (ship's stern ornament) in her lowered left hand. In the left field, the control mark ΜΙ appears; to the right, beneath the wing, a monogram of ΜΥΡ is enclosed within a wreath. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ ('of King Alexander') frames the design.
