Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of victory, standing left in three-quarter view, her wings spread behind her. She extends her right hand to offer a wreath and holds a stylis (ship's stern ornament) in her left hand, emblems of naval and military triumph. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the upper and right field, asserting issue in the name of Alexander. The control mark MI appears in the outer left field, and a monogram is placed within a wreath in the inner left field, serving as mint or magistrate identifiers specific to the Babylon issue.
