Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of King Rhoemetalces facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition. The effigy displays characteristic local regal iconography, with the diadem clearly visible above the brow. A sword appears in the field before the bust on certain specimens. The encircling legend in Greek identifies the issuing monarch.
