Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Rhescuporis II facing right, rendered in a late Hellenistic style with flowing hair indicated by wavy locks. The portrait is set within a beaded border that frames the entire field. The Greek legend ΒΑCΙΛΕΩC ΡΗCΚΟΥΠΟΡΙΔΟC ('of King Rhescuporis') runs around the bust in the field. The engraving exhibits the characteristic Bosporan blending of Greek artistic tradition with local stylistic conventions.
