(Translation: King Rhescuporis)
Reverse description Laureate and draped bust of the Roman Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted in a Romanised style consistent with imperial portrait conventions, with short curly hair and a characteristic stern expression. A six-pointed star or radiate symbol appears in the lower right field of the coin. In the lower exergual area, the Greek date numerals BIΦ (= 512 of the Bosporan Era, corresponding to 216 AD) are prominently displayed. The entire design is enclosed within a well-defined dotted border. The reverse type underscores the political alignment of the Bosporan kingdom with Rome, presenting the reigning emperor's effigy alongside the regnal year.
