| Reverse description | An eagle stands in profile to the right atop a thunderbolt, with wings closed; to the left appears the Aramaic letter Gimel (Γ), and to the right a sword set behind a circular shield, referencing the military authority of the satrap. The devices are arranged in a compact, well-centered composition typical of Tarsus mint production under Pharnabazus II. The thunderbolt beneath the eagle reinforces the Jovian iconographic program initiated on the obverse. |
