Obverse description Diademed male head facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with elaborately curled hair swept back from the forehead and bound by a royal diadem. The portrait, believed to represent King Parisades III, displays strong facial features with a well-defined profile, slightly parted lips, and naturalistic musculature at the neck. The flan is slightly irregular as typical of hammered Pontic coinage of this period, with the portrait centrally positioned within the field.
