Obverse description Bridled horse prancing to the left in high relief, depicted in a naturalistic style characteristic of early Thracian coinage. The animal is shown in mid-stride with legs raised, its bridle rendered with fine detail. The design occupies the central field of the flan, which is broad and slightly irregular in outline. The surface shows the characteristic texture of a hammered silver blank, with no border or legend present on this side.

Reverse description A grape vine arbor rendered in stylized form at the center of the field, enclosed within a linear square border. The magistrate's inscription in Greek characters runs around the central device within the square. The entire composition is set within a shallow incuse square, a hallmark of early Greek coinage technique. The legend references the eponymous magistrate Neomenios, placing this issue firmly within the civic coinage sequence of Maroneia.
