Reverse description Within a square incuse field, a triskeles formed by three curved legs radiating from a central pellet, rendered in bold relief. To the lower left, a helmeted male head facing left, wearing a crested Attic-style helmet. The Lycian dynastic legend MEXΡA / ΤΑ is inscribed along the upper and right sides of the incuse square, identifying the issuing dynast Mithrapata. The composition reflects the artistic conventions common to Lycian dynastic coinage of the early fourth century BC.
