| Obverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in high relief with fine artistic detail, his flowing hair and beard rendered with characteristic Hellenistic naturalism. The god is shown wearing an oak wreath, the symbol of his Olympian authority. Behind the head, the magistrate's name appears in two lines of Greek lettering: ΜΕΝΕΔΗ above ΜΟΣ. The portrait fills the flan boldly, with a broad, heroic physiognomy typical of Thessalian League coinage of the late Hellenistic period. |

| Reverse description | Athena Itonia striding vigorously to the right in martial pose, her right arm raised and hurling a spear while her left arm extends forward bearing a round shield. The goddess is depicted in full panoply, her figure rendered with dynamic energy characteristic of Hellenistic die engraving. The ethnic legend ΘΕΣΣΑΛΩΝ appears distributed in the field, together with the names of the magistrates Pherekrates Neoteros and Ni[...], the latter partially preserved, arranged in multiple lines flanking the central figure. The composition makes full use of the coin's field, with inscriptions framing the deity on both sides. |
