| Obverse description | Head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with a prominent fore-part scroll and a cheek-guard, rendered in fine Hellenistic style. The goddess's hair falls in loose curls beneath the helmet rim, framing a sharply modelled profile with a straight nose and well-defined chin. The helmet crest rises prominently above the bowl and is finely engraved. The field is plain, with no legend, the entire composition conveying the authoritative and idealized divine imagery characteristic of Lysimachean coinage. |

| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of Victory, advancing to the left in three-quarter view, her large spread wings prominently displayed behind her. She extends her right arm forward, holding an olive wreath, while her left hand grasps a palm frond resting against her shoulder. Her drapery clings to her form in the Hellenistic wet-drapery convention, and she stands atop a prow of a warship (aphlaston), symbolizing naval victory. To the left field, a forepart of a lion to the left and a monogram within a circle serve as mint control marks; the royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ is disposed in two lines to the right of the figure. |
