Reverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of the Roman Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic short curly hair and a close-cropped beard, truncated at the shoulder. The portrait is executed in a bold, somewhat provincial style closely following contemporary Roman imperial prototypes. The Bosporan era date ϚΚΥ (year 426 of the Bosporan Era, corresponding to 130 AD) appears in the lower field beneath the bust truncation. The reverse is framed by a prominent beaded border.
